Hylauronic Acid Fillers (restylane, hylaform plus, captique)
This is a gel used as a filling agent. It has been promoted in Europe over the last five years. It is produced from hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring product found in humans. It can be injected directly into wrinkles and does not produce allergic responses since it is synthetically made.
